Dreams Are Free–The Journey Is Not!

The cost becomes apparent once someone starts the journey to their dream.

Purpose

Create a short video using the theme “Journey to a Dream!” The video’s purpose is to communicate your dream and the motivation and inspiration needed to achieve that dream. The video can feature live people, stills, animation – whatever you think best communicates your dream.

Challenge Winner

The winner of the Journey to a Dream Video Challenge will appear on BCI Courtside Live on Tuesday, May 31 at 9:30 pm ET with three pro basketball players.

Entry and Submission

Complete the entry form along with the required release form. Include the link to your video on the entry form. If you have questions, please contact challenge@bciedge.org

Requirements

• All entry forms with video links and release forms must be submitted by May 6, 2016 at 5:00 pm ET
• The video is between 60 seconds and two minutes in length.
• Open to all participants ages 12-18
• No entry fees!
• The entry form must include the name, cell phone number, e-mail address of the participant, and email address of the parent/guardian ( if the participant is under 18).
• A release is required from each person who has a speaking role or is otherwise distinctly featured in the video, as well as those involved in the production of the video. This authorization assures that those involved know that the video may be shown publicly without further consent required. The release form must accompany the entry form and video link. It must be signed by the participant(s) and the participants' parent/guardian (if the participant is under 18).
• Video content must not promote illegal behavior; discriminate against or support prejudice toward others along ethnic, racial or religious ground; invade the privacy of any person; support or oppose a candidate for elective office or advocate for the passage or defeat of legislation or a ballot measure.
• Representatives of Basketball Club International and BCI Loop, a fraternity for professional basketball players, will select the winning video.
